Christine & Aaron dreamed of getting married in Mexico, but a global pandemic would drastically change their dream.
We had the honour & privilege of working with Christine & Aaron for over 3 years. When they first came to us they wanted to have a destination wedding with their closest family and friends. Over the first 2 years we planned the most perfect wedding at Hotel Xcaret in Riviera Maya, Cancun. We were 5 weeks away from the wedding when Covid rocked our world. We had to make the tough decision to cancel the wedding & either postpone to a later date or have it here in Ottawa. After much deliberation and no changes in the pandemic they decided they just wanted to get married so they opted for a wedding in Ottawa. What started out as a wedding with 50 guests, turned into a small ceremony with 10 people (thanks to the gathering limits AGAIN). Even though it wasn’t what Christine & Aaron had originally planned, it was a very special day celebrating the love of two very special people. We are very happy to say that Christine & Aaron will be enjoying their delayed honeymoon at Hotel Xcaret once the world settles.
